UNDERGRADUATES

Medway NHS Foundation Trust welcomes training medical students from King's College London and will soon welcome students from the new Kent and Medway Medical School. Learn about life as an undergraduate at Medway.

Welcome

"Welcome to Undergraduate Education at Medway and we look
forward to meeting with you all on your forthcoming clinical
placements. We have a long history of training medical students
and have a well-established faculty.

"During your time with us, you will be supported by myself and a number of Consultant Supervisors with substantial teaching experience. Our aim is to provide a placement experience which includes not only a dedicated weekly timetable of activities, offering many opportunities to achieve your learning outcomes, but also additional opportunities to enhance your learning with peer teaching and support from postgraduate doctors incorporating great clinical exposure, excellent teaching and outstanding pastoral care.

"You will be given a full induction which will include a tour of both the Postgraduate Centre and relevant departments within the hospital. Our Mess President and Foundation Student Teaching Rep will also aim to attend at lunchtime to give you an overview of events that you can be a part of whilst on placement.

"Our committed undergraduate team will work with you to ensure that your educational needs are met and that you are well supported during your stay."
